1-2-3 Seat – Seat Belt – Mirrors
Review vehicle familiarization procedure

• Drive in moderate traffic areas executing multiple: Right- and left-hand turns, proper lane alignment, lane changes, intersection/crosswalk approaches/stops, correct signage recognition and execution, center turn lanes, one way streets

Highway driving

• Enter and exit using acceleration and deceleration ramp appropriate techniques
• Identify and observe proper following distance, lane positioning and speed
• Pass slower traffic and return to travel lane using proper techniques
• Identity and observe appropriate headlight operation

Parking procedures executed in normal (on street) parking situations

• Execute multiple on street curb park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure
• Execute multiple up hill curb park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure
• Execute multiple up hill “no” curb park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure
• Execute multiple down hill curb park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure
• Execute multiple 90 degree reverse park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure
• Execute multiple parallel park and return to traffic using SMOG procedure

Review and discuss areas of concern needing practice prior to next session.
